williamsburg adventure.

this past saturday i spent the day in brooklyn thrifting at 3 great vintage shops. 1 of them being my all time favorite. i realized after this trip that i truly do want to be a mens fashion stylist. i felt inspired throughout the whole day and its really clear to be something i would love to do for the next 20 years of my life. however, since theres no styling degree at FIT or any fashion school this will be a hard thing to achieve. this also means that i have to start from the bottom and work my way up. something not uncommon when one majors in a fashion degree. ive also realized that im done shopping at retail stores like uniqlo, j crew and h & m. the goal from now on is to wear as much vintage on a day to day basis as possible. ive realized that it suits my style more and i like how preworn items actually look and feel. ill be taking ideas from these stores but cooperating vintage finds into what im wearing rather than something relatively new. to achieve this goal i have plans to continue thrifting monthly like always and traveling to brooklyn about once every 3-5 months. through this whole system ill hopefully acquire a whole wardrobe of great vintage one of a kind finds in which i love to style myself in.
