life changes

ive been somewhat disappointed lately. i was originally supposed to be studying abroad in italy this semester but that fell through. this previous summer was a complete bust so im glad is finally over. my grandfather has been really sick lately and in the hospital for the past two weeks and ive been anxious about losing him. however, with starting a new life in NYC and days like today make up for the struggles. everything happens for a reason and i wouldnt want to be anywhere else compared to where i currently am at this moment in time.
